Best ideas to surprise your spouse

Anniversaries are celebrated after a year of a momentous event in the life of a person. For those who are married, a wedding anniversary is very significant and both spouses look forward to it. They would want that date to be special, so most couples often plan it out, hoping to surprise their beloved.  The main intention behind the plan is to bring back the romantic memories and once more keep the fire of love burning.  Here are some ideas on how to surprise your spouse, and at the same time making your spouse know that you still love him or her.

Floral Bouquet

Flowers are very appealing to most women, if not all. A bouquet of flowers would surely remind her of the one she held in her hands on your wedding day.  If you can still remember the flowers that were used in her bridal bouquet, specifically go for them.  However, if you cannot remember, then buy her favorite flowers. If your wife stays at home, you can surprise her when she wakes up with her favorite breakfast and a bouquet of flowers.  If she is a working wife, you can have it delivered to her working place. It will not be a difficult plan because you can always order it from the florist. You can find many good florists in Auckland who would be more than willing to help you.

Prepare his favorite dish

The saying, “The way a man’s heart is through his stomach” has always been proven.  You could set a dinner date with him, but you won’t tell him where you are going.  You should dress up for the date before he comes home, so that you could tell him to prepare himself while you will be doing something else.  While he is dressing up, set the table secretly.  Don’t forget the candles and the flowers.  Some men have their favorite flowers.  If your husband likes a particular flower, you can always order it from the florist. There are many good Auckland florists or others in nearby places where you can buy flowers.

Renew your marriage vows

You don’t have to wait for twenty five years or fifty years to renew your marriage vows. If you feel that it is time to do it, then do it.  Plan it out together just like you did on your wedding day. Try to recreate your wedding day.  If you live near the place where you exchanged vows, then you could arrange to have it there again. From your wedding pictures try to decorate the place as it was decorated on that special day. Call a good Auckland florist to help you recreate the same scenery.  If your gown and suit still fits, wear it.  If not, dress up like a bride and groom. Order anniversary rings and cake. Invite some friends, especially those who had been to your wedding. Hire someone to take pictures with resemblance to those taken on your wedding day.

There are so many ways of expressing our love for each other.  In fact, we don’t have to wait for our wedding anniversary to do so.  Every day is an occasion to tell your spouse how much you love him or her.  The little things you do every day to make your spouse feel happy and loved, are more precious than any material gift you could give to each other
